Trip Schedule

• Day 01 : Start from Delhi to Haldwani

  Meet our tour crew members at Dhaula Kuan, Delhi at 04.00 AM and start your drive towards Haldwani. The 295 kms drive from Delhi to Haldwani will take about 6-7 hours. We will make a stop at a highway Dhaba or Restaurant for some delicious breakfast and then continue to our destination. On reaching Haldwani check into the hotel and relax. In the evening a group meeting will be organised before the start of the trip to Kumaon for visiting Adi Kailash, Om Parvat and many other beautiful places of high spiritual significance.

• Day 02 : Drive to Pithoragarh via Almora

  In the morning after breakfast we gear up early to move towards Almora which is just a three hours drive away from Haldwani. Today we need time to explore some of the very popular temples such as Neem Karoli Baba at Kainchi Dham and Golu Devta Temple. Later continue drive to Pithoragarh, which is further four hours drive away from Almora and is considered to be the start point for both Adi Kailash Om Parvat Yatra and also Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. On our way to Pithoragarh today we will be making a stop at very famous Jageshwar Dham Temple. This place is popular for beautiful 124 ancient Hindu temples dating back to 9 to 13 Century AD. Continue drive to Pithoragarh. Relaxed time and stay in a decent hotel at Pithoragarh will be organised by the crew members.

• Day 03 : Drive to Dharchula

  After breakfast head to Dharchula. The remote town of Pithoragarh district in Uttarakhand, Dharchula is popular as a trading route of ancient time. Situated close to Indo – Nepal border Dharchula is place to obtain necessary permissions for visiting restricted areas of Adi Kailash and Om Parvat region. Here at Dharchula we will spend leisurely time and explore the Nepal markets situated on the other side of the borders. To visit Nepal Indian travellers do not require a passport or visa but a photo identity card may be required. Here at Dharchula we will obtain inner line permit and medical clearance certificate to move further to Adi kailash next morning.

• Day 04 : Dharchula to Gunji

  This morning we will go to Gunji/Nabi by jeep. This 100 kms drive takes us through ssome beautiful villages such as Chiyalekh, Garbyang, Nepalchu etc. The stunning beauty of Adi Kailash region will mesmerize you as you move towards your destination. Stay will be in a guesthouse here.

• Day 05 : Jyolingkong Adi Kailash Parvat Darshan

  In the morning we will drive to Jyolingkon and then take a short walk to visit holy Adi Kailash Parvat. The travellers will have the opportunity to explore the nearby places. The high altitude of the region and tough weather conditions sometimes does not permit the traveller to stay here for long. After spending some time we will come back to our guesthouse at Gunji.

• Day 06 : Gunji to Nabi via Kalapani

  After breakfast move to Nabi today. We are going to have darshan of the magical Om Parvat today from Nabhidang. If the weather is clear you will have a clear and close darshan and will get the opportunity to capture om shaped mountain in your camera. While driving back to Gunji/Nabi enjoy splendid view of Sheshnag Parvat, visit Ved Vyas Gufa and do some puja at famous Kali Temple situated in Kalapani village.

• Day 07 : Drive to Dharchula

  Spend some leisurely time and after breakfast head head back to Dharchula. On reaching Dharchula free time to relax and explore the place on your own.

• Day 08 : Drive to Didihat or Chaukori

  After breakfast we will drive to Didihat (or Chaukori) where a leisurely stay in a resort will be organised. We will enjoy private time at Didihat while praising the natural beauty of this place. In the evning the group will gather for a farewell dinner party in the resort. Night stay will be at the resort.

• Day 09 : Drive to Tanakpur

  Breakfast in the resort and then spend some leisurely time efore we start our return journey. On our way back to Delhi today we will take a night hault at Tanakpur.

• Day 10 : Drive to Delhi

  After breakfast we will visit Purnagiri Temple which is on of 108 Shakti Peethas. Purnagiri Temple is situated about 20 kms away from Tanakpur. After visiting the temple we will drive back to Delhi. The 6 hours drive from Tanakpur to Delhi will end as we reach India Gate. The group participants will make their way to home from here and the Adi kailash Om parvat driving adventure comes to an end today.
